Meet Our Teaching Team

Jillian Lee

Programme Director, Programmes & Instruction

Jillian has taught General Paper in a local Junior College, and English and educational philosophy in China, where she was also involved in teacher's training and mentoring.

Having seen the aimlessness of many young people, she feels passionately about guiding them to see their studies as a way of loving the Lord with their minds, and to live out their God-given desires in the areas He has called them to. She also enjoys helping parents and teachers be more effective ‘disciplers’ of the next generation, believing them to be key in helping the next generation see the connection between their faith and all of life. Her greatest desire is to see Christians grasp how the application of Christ's teachings can bring shalom to all corners of God’s kingdom.

Apart from serving as Programme Director and Principal at Sterling Campus, her other joys include her husband, Edmund, the visual and performing arts, and cooking for family and friends.

Dave is a well-seasoned pastor-teacher who delights in the opportunity to train disciples by emphasizing Christ’ Lordship and the application of a Biblical way of life.

Dave was initially trained at Philadelphia College of Bible where he received his Bachelor of Science in Bible and Social Work. Dave’s joy, while accomplishing his Master of Arts in Leadership at Wheaton College, was to train under the eminent Christian Educators, Drs. Mary and Lois LeBar. Melanie Lim

Melanie is passionate about seeing the next generation rise up -transformed by the love of God and living out their faith in every area of their lives. She desires to help young people discover their meaning in life and their place in God's story as they grow in relationship with the Author.

Since 2004, Melanie has been involved in youth ministry in varying capacities. Before coming to Singapore, she took on a pastoral role for two years in a Baptist church in her hometown, Penang. She was involved in worship, youth, teaching, and preaching ministries during her time there, and felt especially called to help the young adults make important decisions in their time of transition. Attending a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the year 2010 was a defining moment for her as she began reflecting on what it means to live as a follower of Christ. Her involvement in the Penang House of Prayer and YWAM has also significantly shaped who she is, instilling in her a deep conviction about the inseparability of prayer and missions, and of love and work.

As Faculty at Sterling Campus, Melanie spends her time discipling students in their daily walk with Christ and guiding them in their intellectual pursuit. For fun, she enjoys picking up new musical instruments, climbing rocks, and baking.
